I installed the trial version - Alcohol120_trial_1.9.6.5429.exe just as I get started with the install a message pops up and says it needs to restart my computer so I hit OK. I am running Windows 2000 sp4, AMD Athelon 2600+ and 1 GB of RAM. Everything is fine until I get to the point where windows starts to restore my network connections (just prior to the windows logon) then the computer reboots again. It will keep going in this loop until I stop it by hitting F8. I can boot successfully in SAFE MODE or DEBUGGING MODE. It seems to me the installation program did not complete but instead hung and is now preventing my computer from booting completely. I have tried reinstalling it but it never gets any further. I can not uninstall it either because it does not show up in the regestry nor does it create any files in the Program Files when looking for it in Windows Explorer. Please help

Please try booting in to Safe Mode and removing Alcohol. Reboot back in to Safe Mode and install Alcohol. Failing that, download the SPTD standalone driver from www.duplexsecure.com, install that then install Alcohol.
