I usually use CDRW to store my data.

Recently I start shifting to DVD+R, so I have a few questions:

Can I use UDF format instead of ISO?

There are several versions of UDF, eg 1.2, 1.5, etc, Which one should I use?

Does UDF format display in Windows 98 and DOS (including 98 real mode DOS)?

In Nero, there is an option for UDF format: xxxx partition, what is that really?

Hope some advanced users can explain these, thank you.

The file system of the DVDs is of the UDF type but you doesn't have to make such a selection, you just choose to burn to a DVD and the burning application does the rest for you. The only case that you have to choose a version of UDF as far as I know is when you format a CD-RW or DVD-RW with a packet writing software like InCD but still there will be a recomented option( in InCD at least).

If your Drive can write to DVD-Ram you can format using FAT32 then shove your files from the Ram disc to your Harddrives and vice versa as needed.

Oh yes, RAM disc is a good idea! Let me check the price of the disc.
