Hi guys,

I got also this error from Windows installer during Alcohol software installation (could not access network location "::/Documents and Settings/All Users/Desktop"). I tried again and again to unistall manually the software, but... Nothing happens.
Does exist a patch or an automatic procedure that is able to correct this problem?

You must have installed a very old version of Alcohol. Anyway delete the program's folder, the axvbus/axvscsi or v347bus/v347scsi or vax347b/vax347s drivers from the Windows/System32/Drivers folder, the corresponding keys in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services registry hive and any other registry entry related to Alcohol( search with "Alcohol" as the keyword). Then if you have days left and you want to, download the current trial version( 1.9.7.6022).
