SCSi Raid / Host Controller ERROR CODE 12. I seem to have a conflict with IRQ 00 when I try and load virtual drives. I have been playing with this all day and tried various things from the FAQ's and forum inc installing from safe mode and installing SPDT. When I load a fresh copy from your site v19.7.6022 the number of virtual drives is set to zero when this is changed I get a error pop up in Device Manager under Scsi and Raid Controllers, I am asked to reboot but when I do I am back to where I was before rebooting .. ie no virtual drives. I have Nero installed and am able to create Nero image drives without fault..

The resources it is refering to is 'IRQ 00' also used by the System Timer and Standard PC.. I don't understand why a virtual drive would need an IRQ setting but assuming it does cannot this request not be changed to another non system critical setting?

If I highlight the IRQ 00 and use the 'Change Setting' tab- I get the following message: This resource setting cannot be modified in this configuration. Try choosing a different configuration in the 'Settings Based On' box. As mentioned above there is only the one setting?

Alcohol Emulation Core
Setting Device Map Failed!
Error ID3
Message Invalid Device Number Was Specified.
Think this is just related to the number of virtual drives specified (in this case 1) but the same message appears when I change the number request to 3, 5 and 7..
Why is my instillation selecting IRQ 00 rather than the default IRQ 09 ... looking in the 'System Information' it looks as though IRQ 09 is not being used..

Is this likley to be a software or a hardware issue? If I were to reinstall my OS would the fault be rectified?
