I Made An Image Of Spyro For PlayStation In MDS (& MDF) Using The "Play Station" Data Type At 1X Read Speed. I Burned It At The Lowest Write Speed Option (8X) In Write Method "RAW DAO" And "Enable Buffer Underrun Technology" Enabled Under "Play Station" Data Type On A FujiFilm CD-R (I Know It's Not The Best Of Quality Disc). It Did Not Work, So I Tried Again, This Time Only Changing The Add Of Enabling "Rectify Sub-Channel Data" Option. I Got The Same Error. When I Try To Play The Disc In A PlayStation, I Get A Message On The TV Stating Something Like "Please Insert PlayStation Format Disc". The Original Disc And PlayStation Work Fine. Do I Need To Use A Different Write Method Or Use Different Setting Options? Is My CD Burner Incompatible Altogether? Please Let Me Know What Is Wrong. Also, I Couldn't Find An Option To Add An Attachment, So I Hope The System Info Is Okay In A Code Box...

EDIT:
One Last Note, I'm Using Trial Version Of Alcohol If That Matters...

Has your playstation been mod-chipped or do you use a swap disc?

It Has Not Been Modded, And I Don't Know What A Swap Disc Is, So Probably Not.

Unfortunately then you will not be able to play off a backup disc.

A playstation must be mod-chipped or you will need to use a swap disc to play off a backup. A swap disc simply boots the playstation and when it tells you to, swap the disc with the backup and then the game will load as normal. The modchip allows you to do this without swapping the disc.

I Looked Up "Swap Disc" And Only Found "Swap Magic" Which Seems To Only Be For PS2. I Use An Original PlayStation. If Alcohol Backups Only Work On PS2, I Could Try Testing The Discs I Made On My Friend's PS2... Is That The Problem? Or Should They Work On Original PlayStations As Well?

EDIT:
Ah, Are You Allowed To Tell Me Where To Gain Access To Such Items? Or Is That Against Forum Rules?

Both Playstation and Playstation 2 consoles require modchips in order to play backup discs. If you search Google for Playstation Modchips you should come up with quite a few places. However the Playstation 1 is quite old now and I'm not sure if you'll have much success in locating one for the earlier model. They invalidate any warranty you might have.

Any Site You'd Reccomend? The Last Time I Ordered Something Like This Online (For My DS) It Came With Half Of The Set Missing (No Car Charger Nor USB Converter)

Sorry, console's are not my thing and we'd not be able to recommend a provider. It's unfortunately something you'll need to investigate. Perhaps a playstation forum might be able to provide the answers you require.
