Ok I have just downloaded and installed Alcohol 120 to my computer. When I tried to launch it my computer froze right up and needed me to hard restart it before I could do anything. This happens with no other programs running in the backround and after a fresh restart.

My Comp specs are as follows:
- Win XP SP2
- 701 MHz Processor
- 512 MB RAM
- CD Burner is a JustLink 52*24*52 (Burns disks perfectly well alone with windows.)

I have tried reinstalling the program with no results. I would appreciate any help any of you can give.

**EDIT**
It freezes on the screen after the screen where you have to wait 10 seconds. It says something like "Applying Alcohol Virtual device settings" or something like that and never gets past that screen.

Well I have some good news if anyone else encounters this problem as I have fixed it myself wink.gif (Along with a tip from a completely different topic)

- Booted to Safe Mode
- Was able to start and burn no problem.
- Restart
- Opened and burned another no problem.

Didn't have to free up any more HD space either like I thought.

Hope this helps anyone else out there.
