hello, i get this error once in a while and i'd like to solve it. i know this movie im trying to back up, Good Will Hunting, is old enough for it to not have very heavy copy-right software, so i know this isn't likely to be a hardware issue unless a tech actually specifies it is.
i can rip the cd fine, although i have no way to tell if the issue is coming during the ripping process or the burning process; how can i tell if the rip is still good?
but during the burning, at 35.8% it failed. I'm going to display the error log after this post but something that i noticed that stood out to me was this quote from the log
"13:00:23 Error message: [04/09/01] - Tracking Servo Failure" -- could that indicate a possible mechanical failure?
please, i really need help fixing this. i've had issues with my alcoholsoft for a long time
