Hi,

I am trying to cook up and small multi cd duplicator for my recording studio.
I have a P4 2.4 GHZ Machine running XP SP3 and No AV software on it. It is clean of malware
and viruses and runs nice and fast. I have 3 52X IDE CD Drive connected up to an Adaptec 29160UW SCSI Controller
through ACARD 7720UW SCSI to IDE Bridge Boards. I have one CDROM connected to the motherboard's IDE controller also.

Alcohol trial can copy and audio CD from the IDE connected CDROM to any one of the SCSI-ized CDRW drives and as long as I hang around a recording speed of 8X or lower the copy comes out flawless. However If I enable a record to two of the scsi-ized drives (This is the trial limit) Even at 1X the copied CD has some skipping. Not a lot but one skip is one too many.

Nero Burning Rom 10 faired little better. But I am getting better results so far from alcohol.

Am I going about this wrong? I though I had to use scsi as that was the only real way to get multi cd recording going.

Thanks in advance,

:Ron
