Please add an option to verify the data written (compare with image). It doesnt have to check the protection stuff like weak sectors or so, just the actual data compared to the image it came from would be fine.
At the moment i mount the image in a virtual drive and compare the data with the written CD with a proggy called CDCheck. Would be really cool if Alc120 could do that automatically after burning (as an option).
Nero can do it for compilations, but not for images.
Would be cool if alcohol could do it for images. It would save me a lot of work.

definitely, verify is a good idea.

I burn hundreds of cds a week. If a cd is bad and I ship it, it costs me money.

I believfe he was referring to the fact he "burns hundreds of cds a week" more than the verification of data.

Yes I would like to see this added too. Can anybody confirm or deny whether this is or will be happening?

I used to burn a fairly large number of disks, when I worked at a software company and got roped into running part of our beta program. Cost to us of a bad disk: About $150, minimum. Some of them could have cost us hundreds of thousands of dollars if it annoyed an important prospective customer... I used cdrecord, of course. smile.gif
