I'm new to Alcohol 120%, but so far I haven't found a "Copy First Session Only" option, which is VERY useful for copying protected Audio CDs. I've seen a thread about this on the French-language forum, but the Alcohol-guy apparently didn't understand why this would be useful...

On protected Audio CDs, the first session contains the normal music tracks, and the second session contains data... Hifi CD players cannot read the second session, so they only see the first session, and start playing the music. PC CD players however see all sessions, and give a preference to the data session, hence effectively disallowing the user access to the music session of the CD...

If Alcohol would copy only the first sessions of such discs, they would create a plain red-book audio CD, without copy-protection...

Anyway, that would be a great option... I'm trying to copy such a CD at the moment... Unfortunately, I've just uninstalled CloneCD in favour of Alcohol 120%, and I've found out this is gonna take a looooooooong time to copy this disc...

So --> Copy First Session Only please!!
