I thought now that RMPS is working could you write such an emulation thing that is started before the game runs and emulates the protection without the need of having any emulation installed?
Sorry for my bad language, I hape you can understand what I mean.

You start the launcher.exe, emulation becomes activated, and then you run the game. Quit the launcher.exe and emulation will be gone like it has never been there.
It's just the wish to not install an emulation software but emulate "ad-hoc" via that launcher.exe...
At least that's how I understood this.

Use D-tools. Why don't you want to install a little program (less than 5MB) on the other pc?

Blindwrite launcher doesn't work with alcohol-RMPS cds.
The unofficial alcohol launcher is D-Tools.
Personaly i think this is for being able to make copys of games for other people..., as says Phoenix

so following your thinking, d-tools is also for people that runs illegal copy so should not exist...
and why not also saying that alcohol can make copy for others so should not exist or be prohibited by law...
don't tell me that you believe that all users of alcohol are using this software just for personnal backup !!!
I think that it's a bit hypocrital from developers to be moralistic when a users ask for a question (not stupid at all)

Sure, not all alcohol users use alcohol to make personal backups, this doesn't means that the developer should help these people to break the laws. Launcher for other computers help this kind of people and is unless for pleople that doesn't break the laws.
This is what I think.

Alcohol is capable of easily making copies of protected games. It is obvious that this can lead to illegal activities such as copying for other people or using copies of games one doesn't own.
This could theoretically mean that the developers of Alc support illegal activities. At least in germany this can be legally punished. So they have a disclaimer (as do Daemon-Tools) that forbids using Alc for illegal copies. Of course this is no guarantee but Alc is ONLY meant for legal stuff, what people finally do with it is their concern.
If the support staff helped people that obviously asked for help in illegal questions, the above-mentioned disclaimer would obviously not be meant serious so they cannot do this.
I think it is perfectly understandable that support cannot be given in such situations, and I don't think anyone should complain about this. You simply should not search for help on an official support forum of whatever kind.
Just my two cents...

So you really can't ask for nor expect support for the use of alcohol (or anything else for that matter) for illegal purposes.
