So i just bought a new DVD drive expecting the newer higher quality one to do better DVD rips. But it doesnt support DPM
I dont have a problem with Alcohol, my laptop rips disks fine. But if i put the same disk with the same settings into my PC, it doesnt work. Ive tried different speeds, and i know it works becuase i did it the laptop afterwards. SO, which DVD drive should i look at getting if i REALLY need one that supports DPM?

If the disc works on your laptop then it is good. Something in your PC doesn't let it work. So this is in fact a technical matter and you must post a system report from within Alcohol from your PC which has the problem per the forum rules.
