There are some copy protections (like SecuROM 4.8x) which Alcohol can't make a working copy, only emulation works. I think you should disable those profiles at the Image Burning wizard.

What do you mean disable the profiles?

I think he is thinking of not to offer the user the datatype "Securom NEW 4.x" in the burning wizard, so the user don't think he can burn a working copy of a Securom 4.x protected cd.

Thats not going to happen. The DPM function was a milestone and this option should never be removed.

He meant that this profile should be removed from _Burning_Wizard_

I'm not talking about removing it. You must agree that some novice users may try to backup a SecuROM 4.8x protected title and the only thing they get is a coaster. If Alcohol can't burn some protections correctly (only emulate) there's no purpose to have them enabled on the Burning wizard.

I agree, take it out or have a popup box (which could be disabled in the options) that will inform you that you can only emulate this 'burning profile'
