can you also include "compression method" function as seen used in Paragon CD-Rom? and can it build image other formats than just .mds format?

Alchohol is truly best cd emulator out there.
P.S. Maybe you can include a new "convert" funtion to convert between formats. for example: Convert: From .mds to .bin/cue or .iso and vice versa. etc...

You don't need it, for example:to convert an image from mds to ccd you have only to mont the mds image on a virtual drive, then use the image making wizard to make an image in ccd format!
