Have you tried burning it to a CD?

I am having the same problem with the Trial ver. of 120% and vista. I am attempting to burn an .iso of a DVD backup that I made with DVD Shrink.

Does the error message by any chance say "Empty Disc(DVD)".

It brings up a dialog box that says Alcohol 120% - Waiting for disc and states the device status is "Blank Disc (DVD)"
I checked the status of the disc through the menu system and it says that is is completely open and the writeable status "yes".

Is it surely a DVD? Maybe it is a VCD or an SVCD or a so called "mini DVD" which is also a CD( in case that DVD Shrink can also edit such disks)?
