I have two laptops, and what I am trying to do is making an image of CD, so I won't have to put this CD in when I want to play this game.

So here's what I did for both laptops.(I already made one virtual drive each)
Open up alcohol 120% > Image Making Wizard > Chechmark on "skip reading errors" (default) > Next > choose .ISO

But for reason, this doesn't work on one of the two laptops.
Even though I mount the image on virtual drive, when I try to load the .exe file without the CD, it keeps saying insert the CD in.

Help?

Hello Kevin,

What are you trying to backup, please give as much information as possible, weīre not good at guessing neither do we have strong telepathic skills ph34r.gif whistling.gif

Is your original CD copy protected? To check that, use a tool called ProtectionID.

Thank you.

Kevin,

Iīve seen your system report, thank you, no need to post it again.
What Iīm missing is the information I asked for, such as the copy protection involved if any (use the soft ProtectionID to check that) and what are we talking about ... is it a game, whatīs the name ... as much information as possible, as I said we donīt have telepathic skills!
Thanks

Kevin,

You didnīt answer the question about the involved copy protection ban.gif
OK, that game is copy protected by SecuRom, the version you must find out yourself as it vary from country to country and relaese date / update / patch.
Now you know the copy protection, so choose SecuRom (DPM high and with low read speed) as setting and make mds/mdf files instead of iso.

Search Google for ProtectionID. You can use it to scan the disc and/or the installation directory for the copy protection used and which version it is.
