My entire computer (mouse, keyboard, all) freezes when loading a disc (into burner, not just ROM, drive) into my DVD-RW drive and when I try to mount an image (ccd or cue) onto a virtual drive created with Alcohol 52%. My system info is below. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What happens if you uninstall Alcohol and/or SPTD? Does your system still lock up? Is there any related error messages in Event Viewer?

You will need to post a complete system report from within Alcohol. Thanks.

Thank you, I removed your sysrep after review. I don't have time to answer right now, but either I or someone else will try and respond later. I just wanted to you be aware of why your sysrep vanished.

Try to uninstall Alcohol and/or SPTD( for SPTD you need the standalone installer/uninstaller from www.duplexsecure.com) and check if your system still locks up. Also check the Event Viewer for any related messages.
You should also apply for access to the customer-only forums since you are a purchased user: http://forum.alcohol...showtopic=26725

1. Happy to meet a compatriot. smile.gif
2. Make sure that the "Hide Media Type" ("Απόκρυψη φύσης του μέσου") option is disabled. If this doesn't solve the problem please look in the Device Manager to check the conditon of your DVD drives.
