I'd like to put a vote in for virtualizing (and backing up in the long run which may or may not even be possible) Alpha-Rom protected video games (CD and DVD).
From my understanding Alpha-ROM is a type of protection where different files have the share the same sectors

From what I looked into so far I know CD-Kakumei (a jp burning software) is able to virtualize Alpha-Rom discs as stated on their website.

Many JP games do use this protection scheme so I can't really back up any of them sad.gif
