hi, I copied a ps1 game using alcohol 120%, but the game is really low quality - the screen is shaky and off centre and the sound goes from time to time. My blank disc only worked at a minimum speed of 18x, could this be the problem? How can I fix it?
thanks
thanks

You could try using lower read speed, and a different blank Media, write speed is in alot of cases down to the Media used as to what speeds it supports.

ahhh ok, what would be the write speed you would suggest for a ps1 format?
what do you mean by that zamiel? Like, did I copy from the original disc? If so, then yes
thanks

This may help with the writing speed. Can you burn at lower speed with other programs e.g. Nero? Also as Phoenix said the blank media brand (and quality in a more general way) is of importance.

Well I changed my media to one with a 4x write speed, but that just freezes on the Playstation screen

Try another brand from a well-known company (Philips, Sony, TDK e.t.c.)
