I am thinking of purchasing a netbook computer - and most (if not all) of these lack a CD or DVD player. My wife likes watching movies on airline flights, and I'm thinking this little netbook could do the trick if.... Well, here's the idea and someone tell me if this won't work or if there's a better solution. Use Alcohol 52% to create an image of the DVD, and then move that image over to the netbook using our home network. Load Alcohol 52% onto the netbook, and then mount the image on the netbook and play the file with media player or winamp.

Why not as far as the computer has the minimum requirements for each one of this programs (I think you can find the minimum requirements of Alcohol in its help file).
