Since installing the trial version of this software I've been unable to do anything with my DVD/CD RW drive. When I pop a disc in, the drive spins up and the computer acts like it is reading a disc, but after a minute or two it stops spinning with no disc recognized. Clicking on the drive in My Computer shows no disc.

This began immediately after installing the Alcohol trial. Right before, I had loaded the disc I wanted to try and copy, and it played fine. After installing, the drive no longer recognizes anything I put in. I've uninstalled the program but it has made no difference.

Try uninstalling your drive in device manager and then re booting your PC alowing windows to locate and set the drive back up.
