Presently Alcohol is not compatible with Windows 8, we hope to release a new
version shortly which will be Windows 8 compatible.

Please note while we are developing a new installer for Alcohol in Windows 8
You can install and run Alcohol in Windows 8 by downloading SPTD version 1.83 and installing this first, you can then install Alcohol.

We recommend uninstalling Alcohol prior to upgrading to Windows 8
