I can't find anywhere to post about a Non-Trial version, so this is the only place I can put it.

I've had Alcohol 120 for a long time. I decided to reinstall it today, but cannot register it. When I click register, nothing happens. When I click okay, it says "This is a retail version of Alcohol 120, you can't use it without a license. This software will now close."

Weird problem. Maybe you should try uninstalling Alcohol and reinstalling it. Also you can try this:

I have same problem. Button "Register" doesn't work.

The problem is not solved! I reinstalled Alcohol120_retail_2.1.1.2201 twice. It doesn't work.

The soft Alcohol120_retail_2.1.1.1019 doesn't have this problem.

Alcohol120_retail_2.1.1.1019 is the latest official version of Alcohol. Were did you find the 2201 version?

I have the same issue as user90: register function is bugged and a click on button "register" do nothing! Last version is actually Alcohol120_retail_2.1.1.2201 ! (Charalambos, you should check before asserting the contrary...).
I use Windows 11 Pro 22H2 with all security updates installed.

Alcohol120_retail_2.1.1.1019 is the latest official version of Alcohol. Were did you find the 2201 version?  

How can it be, as I just tried to install freshly downloaded Alcohol 120% v2.1.1.2201 (release date 20-12-2022) and I have exactly the same problem.

I posted about it to Alcohol Support Customer Forum already...

 

EDIT:

I got it working by uninstalling, then installing Alcohol120_retail_2.1.1.1019 (which let me activate it) and then upgrading to Alcohol120_retail_2.1.1.2201.

The new version is bugged.

When checked via "About", the status was first displayed as "unregistered" and after clicking the register button it changed immediately to show correct registration information.

1. My installation of Alcohol 2.1.1.1019 is reporting that is up to date.

2. The last changelog is for Alcohol 2.1.1.1019.

3. I log in in the user's area myself and I am offered to download Alcohol 2.1.1.1019.

 

I don't know what is going on here, I'll PM to an administrator to have a look at this topic.

A bug has benn found with the reigister button in the version 2.1.1.2201, please login to your account and download the version 2.1.11019, if the version shown to download is 2.1.1.2201 then please contact support per email support_team@alcohol-soft.com with regards to a link for the previous version.

This bug has been fixed and an updated version 2.1.1.2201 has been uploaded.
