So, I downloaded the newest version of Alcohol 120 and its not working right.
I go to burn a DVD, and it burns fine, and even verifies fine. But then around the time the verification finishes, I get a message popping up. "Invalid argument to date encode." It says. I click okay and move on.
But the finished Disc Burning Window wont close. All the options are grey, and clicking the X is the only way out to return to the main menu of Alcohol 120. At which point another message appears:
"Failed to create key Basic\UI\ImgFileInfoTrackViewOfW."
During the time all these error messages are appearing, some others sometime appear. I have screenshots of it, if you can show me how to embed those. The gist is, one will say something like "Alcohol.exe - Application Error" and then give a bunch of letters and numbers and say something about referenced memory not being read. And itll say "Click okay to close the program" At which point I click OK, and the program doesn't close, and the message keeps popping up. Also a "Failed to create key Basic\UI" will keep popping up.
And now I cant get out of the program. Nothing responds to my mouse clicks at this point, and I have to ctrl alt delete and log out user then log back in, in order to regain control of my PC and get rid of Alcohol from my screen.
So... whats wrong?
