Hello, I burnt files for test my recorder and actually is weird situation for me. I didn't met that earlier. And i don't know it is normal. Or only for Windows 10/11.
All SD old to 2.9 and that three sheeps copied ok. But bad.dat when try copy, then Explorer hangs and nothing more. After few minutes i put him to close and turn on again. The same situations when I make images from really destroyed CDs and i try copy on PC to local file. Much files then copy success, some tell can't copy bc error (what is understand) and come some what make how that bad.dat - without informations "can't copy, because...".
Did someone meet that situations?
On Polish forum cdrinfo are comments too about that situation and they don't know how resolve it.

SafeDisc copy protected discs have a lot of read errors, probably your drive can not read the affected files in order to copy them. Making an image with Alcohol is something different of course.

Much people has problems with bad.dat .
I don't know why. And others it is sdold, sd2.51, sd2.9, all 3 sheeps any problems.
To people bad.dat hangs everything. And it isn't normal. If i can't copy something, should be one from informations, what they wrote in tutorial.
About what have safedisc have, I know. So why files correct efm don't make problems? Only that concrete. To that test isn't told "must be older windows". So I made test files on windows 11.

So why files correct efm don't make problems?

I'm not sure what you mean but three sheep burners don't correct EFM errors (which is what we want) and there are also the read errors that are other than EFM errors. A read error means that if a drive tries to read such a sector it finds it corrupted and can't read it.

I don't know. But I had all sd and 3 sheep copied without problems in test. Only that one. So i see week sectors are good in sd to 2.9 + sheep 3 and sheep 3 audio.

Now you understand what i mean?

Well, sorry for pointing that but your English isn't very good and it is difficult to understand what you want to say exactly. Anyway I don't have to say anything more about SafeDisc's read errors. Trying to copy files from them will probably fail in many cases, making and using an image is a better idea. Sorry but I can't be more helpful.
