Previous version of Alcohol had the option to create ISO files, and I complained (!) that it still made an MDS file. I was told this would be fixed.
The new version cannot make ISO files at all (not even an option too)

um

am I missing something? I want to create standard ISO files for some tasks.

Any chance of this feature ?

Are you sure you are using the latest version Trial or Retail (and not a cracked/patched version) as i have no problems creating an ISO image

Image 1 be sure you have checked your shell extensions.

Yes I am using the latest retail version (You can check I bought my key from my email address)

Strange, I could mount images but the image creating wizard would not give me an option for ISO files (Just MDS,CloneCD,Bin+Cue). But I've had LOADS of strange windows issues so I've just formatted my hard drive and reinstalled Windows, and now the option for ISO is there.

Very wierd!!!

I was not trying to be funny in any way when i asked the question, its just that we can not help people who have problems using a cracked/patched version because using these can cause Alcohol to function incorrectly, and people should use them at there own risk.

That will be it!!! The disc was a VCD which had 2 data tracks.
I never realised that ISO files could only be created for discs with one track!

doh! smile.gif

Thanks development
