Well, if there's no copyright on physical structure then there's no copyright violation on mini images. Since they only contain physical structure info and no copyright protected data at all (all data is removed).

But that is slightly incorrect, all data is not removed, it still has the weak/bad sectors of the copy protection on the image. Again it is a thin grey line we are treading on.
Lets just call it a rest on the topic till legal gets back with us on it.
